Default How to you clean the inside of a tranny?

The other day I pulled out the speed sensor and it was full of tiny metal shavings, it looked like it had a whole bunch of gliter on it. I was wondering, what is the best way to clean the transmission, without taking it out?

There is already a big magnet on the bottom of the tranny casing to collect the metal shavings, so there is really no reason to worry about it floating around and screwing anything up.

The only way to "clean" it is to drain it, refill it, then drain and refill again after at least 50 miles or so. If it's still glittery... lather, rinse, repeat.

I don't even know where the magnet is, nor if it is even removable. I am sure you can scrape it off if the case is off, but I don't see a point since it is plenty strong enough to hold the metal shavings down even with all the motion of the fluid.
