Question I need answered fast!!!
I want to buy this turbo kit but I am not 100% sure if it will work on my SOHC D16 1.6L. Here is the item description the guy has
"This is a complete custom turbo kit, this kit was used on my 87 crx with a swaped 89 zc (d16) this kit worked perfect, it was used on my car for about 10k miles, the manifold is stainless steal and very nice, their is no shaft play on turbo and spools up at around 2500 rpm, the tubo is a ihi rhb5, dsm blow off valve, kit comes with all water lines, oil lines, intercooler pipeing and intercooler, i will throw in a extra intercooler the same size as one in the pic."
The pic shows a DOHC D16 ZC (the guy says) so will this turbo kit fit my 1991 Honda CRX Si D16 SOHC 1.6L engine?

It should fit just fine since you have the same model and engine that he "claims" to. You may have to do some modifications to the charge piping and/or downpipe to fit but the manifold should bolt right on.
Looks like a pretty beat turbo kit though. You could piece one together yourself for a pretty good price with much better parts. But, the problem with that turbo kit and piecing one together is smog legality. I don't know if they would fit, but the only two smog legal kits for you are the Greddy kit and the Edelbrock kit, both which are probably 2-3 times more expensive than the kit you are looking at.
If you can pay someone to smog it for you, it shouldn't be an issue. I, however, like the legal approach, so I opted for the smog legal Greddy Kit.

You get what you pay for. For $350, I wouldn't expect anything but a complete turd of a turbo system.
