if someone offered to sell you a 96 civic ex hb with unknown miles but i dont think it has too many and a flow master exhaust for 1500 would you do it the outside looks good nearly perfect but havent seen the interior. would you buy it? or how would you go about low ballin the guy cuz i know he bought it for 1000

First off, their never were any ex hatches only 4 dr & coupes.Yes I would because you usually can get a 88-91 Civic for those prices..Take a mechanic so you're not getting ripped off...

i saw the letters from a distance i thought it was ex but who knows well i work at a hotel and he is stayin here he is in town to help out some dealership get their sales up or something. i saw him drive it into the hotel lot almost 2 weeks ago and its just been sittin there since. he originaly said he baught it for his son and that his son was gonna pick it up in a few days.....its still there and he offered to sell it to someone else at the hotel and they asked me if they should buy it and i told them NO stay away that year hondas they made shitty trannies that year and he hasnt baught it yet...the one i told that to is quiting tho so i might have myself a new car in the near future.:rick: but i cant decide between the 96 or this other hb i drive by everyday for the past 4 months. it just sits there in someones yard and i cant tell if its in the 84-87 or the 88-91 i need to ask em if its for sale for cheap

A 96 for $1500? Offer him $1000 cash and show it to him right then and there and he should take it.
