Post up a time slip, the only way your running that quick with your set up is if your spraying or you have some type of forced induction. Not trying to knock you but I see it nearly impossible to run that time with what you have. How much horsepower does a JDM D16 make stock ?

My friends '93 civic ex is about the same, with the usdm d61y6 I/H/custom side exit glasspack thing his best run was a 15 flat with full interior, he's run a 14.7 with a 30 shot. In a CRX being a couple hundred lbs ligher it should be entirely to run at least a mid 14

OK?
So what is sooo special or difference between that and a US spec d16?
Like i said before,if it were that easy and that cheap in order to beat b16's and b18c's then everyone should go out and get a 2nd gen crx,get a JDM d16 and add some bolt ons.
I still say i can take ya in my hatch, still say that your competition sucked and you beat there skill not the cars themselves.

if it was a jdm b16 i would believe it. So Your as fast as a 00 coupe with a b16a2 swap with a bunch of goodies? How are you a b16/b18 killer when I still beat you with my old b16a2? if you were doing a 14.0 then that would be a KILLA, but maybe the people in your area are just slow. I know my car weighs way more than yours, that would prob mean your pushing out an estimated 142whp with that weight?

Supposedly the JDM D16 (would be a SOHC ZC), has a more agressive cam and some claim anywhere from 112HP to 130HP (since there were so many different variations on it, some were carbed, some FI, ect, no way of pinning down a real number except on a dyno) compared to the 108HP in the USDM D16A6... But even with 130HP and bolt ons its hard to believe hes beating B's... But I suppose its possible... :dunno:

Thanks for the detailed answer. I am betting that the author of this thread didn't even know that,(since he never answered the question)he just knew that if it is JDM it must be fast y0!
