What's it worth (88 Si)?
I'm thinking of selling my CRX. I've checked KBB, Edmunds, and the local paper, and the prices seem to be all over the place. Thus, I figured I would ask you experts. Anyway, here is a description and I would appreciate your opinion on what you think it's worth. I'm not looking to make a killing, I just want to sell it for a reasonable price for both seller and buyer. It's in Oregon.
The details:
1988 CRX Si, Red
122k miles
5-speed
Air conditioning, sunroof, CD player,
the body has NO rust on it what so ever
there are 3 nickel sized door dings on it
the paint is still shiny
the passenger door bumper (the black thing is a little oxidized)
no tears in the interior seats
the rest of the interior is clean
the cargo cover has a little tear in the crease (~ 1" on each side)
In the last 5k miles, I've replaced the following intake manifold gasket, O2 sensor, PCV valve, drivers side drive axle, timing belt, and water pump. The car runs smoothly and I'm getting about 32-33 mpg in it. The car is stock. There are obviously some small minor cosmetic things like some rock chips, etc.
I'm thinking that it's probably worth about $2200 to $2400. What do you all think?
Thanks.

a good stock crx you could probably get around 2500-3000 for if you wanted. I would say you were right in the ballpark though on a good price for both parties.
