Default z6 rings/rod bearings

for a 1.6 vtec z6 can i use the piston rings and rod bearings from any d-series 1.6L motor? If not, what year and model was the z6 in? thanks.

You can use any d-series rings but you have to use the bearing's that go to that block. Actually the bearings that match the crank.

right on... the rings are what i was havin trouble finding anyway... suggest a brand name? I kinda figure the ebay deals arent that great... what do you suggest?

I would just get them from the dealer. 90% of the motors that i build have factory rings in them except when i do fully built motors that the pistons come with rings.
