Default Carbon Fiber Hoods

I was wondering if I should buy a carbon fiber hood or not. Does that much weight make a difference? will it make my car look like crap?

Here are some ones i like and my car

Carbon fibre is cute and all, but it's seriously expensive. The average driver will never see a difference in the twenty or so pounds anyway.

Engines are designed to run at a standard operating temperature around 180-190*F, anything less will cause increased engine wear. If your cooling system works as-is, there isn't much point on a regularly driven car (with no side, "V," or top mounted intercooler, at least.)
