Default GSR Cluster in 91 CRX?

Is there any fabrication needed to put this cluster in a CRX or does it just fit right in? Thanks Chris

Wiring issues and the cluster does not bolt right up.
To compare, here is a 99-00 Si cluster in a Crx.

So would I have to follow these same steps for my Civic Si hatch to put either the GSR or 99 SI cluster. How much & how long did this take you. I have a B16 also so maybe it's a little easier with wiring since already set up for Vtec. Looks good, so which one would you recommend doing ?

The engine that you have in your car make NO difference as far as the wiring is concerened for a cluster. It has nothing to do with how the cluster is wired. The cluster does not care what motor you have or if your car has vtec or not.

So do I just need the parts that's mentioned & a little cutting & that's all.Cluster looks really good. I honestly didn't think those clusters would fit. Guess anything's possible with some research. Hollar

Well...

Late model clusters use electronic VSS signals. You need to figure out some way to make your car produce an electronic VSS signal. Then, you need all the chassis side plugs from the same vehicle as the donor cluster, along with wiring charts for your car and the donor car. A repinning tool would be nice, but a soldering iron and heat shrink are a must. Then, match the wires, and hope there is no voltage differences or oddities (like late model Integra fuel gauges.)

So would you say for complete swap including cluster can cost easily $200-250?
