Hey nick. THe boys over at H/D dont have any zc's layin around?? or at least have a good connection to one?

hondata is a waste of money as is zdyne. just get an S-AFC for like $300 and do the afc hack. it runs great and its cheap too.

theres none lying around but im sure they can get one if u want it but everyone down there will tell u its not worth it if its not a 1.8 its cool though cause i wanna be different anyway and im 99% positive i'll et mine from them and than do the swap myself w/ a few friends

Yeah, you are right. A Zdyne is a waste of money... that is of course unless you want proper fuel and timing control. Ok, $300 gets you the SAFC, but what are you going to do about timing control? Well, you have buy a MSD BTM and those run about $433. So, that means that you will spend $733 on HACKS. Now you can spend slightly more than that ($750 on a group buy) on a FULLY PROGRAMABLE ECU. Checkout this link for some screen shots of the Zdyne software http://www.thezcresource.com/zdyne/ .

The hacks are just that, HACKS. Do they work? Sure, sort of.... How do they work? They modify the signals being sent to and from the ECU. The only allow limited modification of signals and usually are more troublesome and painful to setup than something like the Zdyne.

www.hondamotorsonline.com has ZC motors for $499.....I think they also have ZC trannys for $150.
