Will 400lbs slow down a crx si dramatically?

it's my D in a B
yes, 400 lbs will slow down a light, low-power car like mad. To give you an idea, I stripped the interior, A/C and stereo from my EG (probably around 100 lbs all together) and it felt noticably quicker. Both of my hondas feel noticably slower with one passenger and downright sluggish with three. So with any lightweight, low-power car, weight is the enemy.
On a side note, I find it hard to beleive that you've got 400lbs of stereo in your car. Your motor and transmission don't even weigh that much, so unless you've got 3 15's in a concrete box, your stereo probably weighs more like 100lbs.
