Default Type R motor into EF hatch

Ok fellas, a buddy of mine have a 90 civic si hatch. He want to have a TEG Type R motor installed. He's aware that the Type R has LSD & hydarllic tranny. He want to know what the whole swap would cost & a good place to have installed. He lives in Washington, DC. Any imfo would help him out. Gingas

That's going to be fun. The wiring is going to be a pain in the ass.

Yep... Not only does it have hyrdo tranny, but its OBD-II, to swap that into an OBD-0 car, its gonna be a major pain in the ass... But it would be well worth it I suppose, if u could afford it that is... The engine themselves range from $4000-4500... Plus B series mounts, plus all the other shit youll need...

Thanks fellas, I'll just tell my boy to go either the B16A or GSR route. He didn't say exactly how much $$ he's working with. I suppose he have decent money if he's talkingTYPE R motor swap. Hollar, GINGAS

if he's got the money he might even want to do some turbo-ing to a motor (ie, do LS/turbo)
