will the 86 crx si tranyn bolt up and work with a 86-87 integra D16a1 motor? from what ive read the D16a1 is the us version of the brown zc and i know that the tranny will work on a brown top zc.

no - the D16A1 uses the CG model Integra transmission, as does the "brown top" ZC - the 1g CRX (3g Civic) transmissions will only work with the 1g CRX (3g Civic) engines - the "brown top" ZC is the JDM version of the D16A1 - these are Integra engines, have the same mounts as 1g CRX, but transmissions are not interchangeable

yes i have and sorry. i realized it was a dumb question. im new to honda coding all the numbers and letters confuse me. chevy 305 350 EVERYTHING is interchangable. again im sorry. so will most integra tranny's work?
