Default exhaust

I have a dint in my exhaust and was wondering if there is a way to get it out myself or if a mechanic has to do it or if it can be fixed at all. the dint goes about a 1/4"-1/2" in and goes from one end to the other and the seal on the right side may be broken and if it is can i weld it? i have the tools to weld just about anything so tools arnt a problem. And if i have to take it to a mechanic how much would it be?

I used the ding king from Pep Boys on my aftermarket sport bike exhaust that had a ding. It worked. It still has some scratches though. Of course, you can see the sport bike exhuast. If it was on a car, i would have cared less. Not to many people climb up under your car and say, oh, look at that ugly ding on his exhaust. But if it's a bad dent that restricts flow, you may be better off just getting a new exhaust.

It would be easier to just replace the pipe.
