PCV Valve Hose

PCV Valve Hose
Hi, I have a 1990 Honda Civic LX.. And I just recently noticed that the hose going into my PCV valve is literally split in half. I called Honda, and they said that it's a molded hose, and a replacement would be about $35.00. My question is can I go to an autoparts store and find a regular hose the same size, and then cut it to length? If I have to, I can just buy the hose at Honda, but I'd rather not spend so much on this little hose. Thanks.
Oh, I did do a search first, but I couldn't find anything related to the hose itself.. A lot about the valve, just not the hose.

hahahahaha, that is ridiculous
Of course, use any normal hose it will probably cost you about 15 cents for the correct amount. Was that really just for hose? They might have been trying to sell you the valve too because the valve costs something like $16.

I'm really not sure.. When I was on the phone with the guy, he was asking me if the valve was ok, and I said yes, the valve is ok, all I need is the hose. So he looked it up on the computer I guess, and gave me the price. All I can figure is the guy looked up the wrong thing. I was told before the hose should be under $20. But anyways, thanks for the reply, I think I'll go get a hose at an autoparts store.
