Default can any turbo fit on a crx? modified ofcourse

like a tdo4hl mits turbo froma volvo 850? or does it have to be certain ones only? i wonder if i can make that turbo work well on a v-6 mustang

well, if you get the right manifold and adapter plate, sure you could put that in there, well if there was enough room between the radiator and the block ofcoarse(which it would have to be pretty big to run into clearence problems). As far as the v6 mustang goes, its always harder to do a single turbo on those because you have to run both sides manifolds into one and making that work right is really hard, thats why you almost always only see twin turbos on v6 and v8 cars(well any engine with a V type layout for that matter). Could be done, but probably would be hard.

When it comes to single or twin turbos what it all comes down to is which side's plumbing do you want to be more complicated. A properly sized single turbo will be more efficient than a comparable twin turbo setup, but it makes plumbing the hot side more complicated since you now have to plumb two engine banks into one turbo. It is generally easier to Y the cold side than it is the hot but it certainly can be done. Buick Grand Nationals are single turbo V6s. There are also single turbo kits available for 5.0 Mustangs, if you have $4500 to spend.
