if you want cheap power, ZC. It's about 450 plus shipping (or less if you find one in your area) and it gets 130 horses, and it takes much better to turbo than a stock dx engine. You'd probably get this advice from anybody. Not to mention that homemadeturbo.com provides extensive documentation on the project.

would the zc be better on mpg than my current engine?

I have a DOHC ZC, and with the stock Si ECU it makes 30+ mpg

not bad that's what i get since i always driving at 70-75. i need to look into zc then. preferably a 95+ year engine

Doesn't exist. However, try a D16Z6; they come as late as 95 in the del sols and civic ex/si's. Not to mention that they're vtec. Or, you could just grab the head and have a mini-me

so I should go to this places where they sell engines and ask for zc motor froma honda civic? I'm in Miami FL.

and yeah the Z6 should push that little thing around just fine. It moves my ex well enough on surface streets. I don't know about on the highway though.
That blacktop would the the sh!t tho fa sho.

Did they do DOHC ZCs after '95?
