Default how do you take off those side skirt things? those black plastic things?

cuz i bought my car from a dumb ricer and his dumbass funna spray paint those black things while it was still on the car, wtf? anyways i need to take em off and paint remover that shit. so how do you take the side skirt/black things off?

Very carefully

JFWY

For the doors you have to take your door panels off on the inside. Along the inside you'll see the little clips that anchor the trim to the door. If you have a manual I think there's a page that shows how all the trim is attached.

its a 91 civic standard hatch. and im talking about the ones behind the door. the ones in front is that one pin thing behind the fender.

All of your trim is held on by clips.
Just be careful, if you break a couple clips it is probably not going to go back on right.

Yeah, it's a pain in the arse. I broke a couple taking some of mine off to fix rust spots. Thankfully I have some spare trim clips.

Kragen,Schucks,Checker(all the same, depends on where you live). Comes in a spray can. Here's what you'll be looking for...



It says not recommended for use on fiberglass and plastics, so if you get some just try it on a small spot to see how it performs on the trim. If it's no good then h: , but it works great on metals so it's good to have around in case you need it for preping rust jobs.

i know how to post up pics. oh yeah. the exterior pic is when i got it. the interior is what it looks like now, cept with ex seats . and if the paint remover works im going to use it on the bumpers too.
