Default 99-00 civic si Lip install on crx bumper (pics)

Ok I had one of those ABS plastice lips for a 99-00 civic laying around. My sister bought it for her car but it didn't fit properly. I decided to see how it looks on my crx so here you go. It took alot of work to get it this far. I first lined up the middle of the lip and got it centered. I then screwed it in place with some brakets underneath so It would look nice and clean. I then took a propane torch and melted the plastic around the curves of the bumper. It may be easier to use an oven because the torch melted the platic badly but I didn't care becasue I was able to mold it how I wanted. I then used a sander to get all the bubbles out. I also used the sander to smooth the edges. These are just some preview pics. It still needs somemore sanding and filler ot get it nice and smooth.Once I get the front end finished I will post some pics of it ll finished. Hope you enjoy it. Also let me know what you think of it. Good or bad.

That came out really well for a tourch-and-bend job.

Sounds like a lot of work for a lip but it looks pretty cool. I give it a thumbs-up.

Nice custom work. Wonder how it would look on the car?
