what if i want to stay all motor, what motor should i save up for?

i see. because my new motor is goin to be stock for a goooooood while. so i might need something that hauls ass with out anything on it. except maybe i/h/e

Seems like you've got to do some prioritizing. Spend less on your engine, you'll get to f/i faster. You'll want to plan in advance for your f/i; you can save yourself a lot of time if you plan ahead and get (and install) the proper bottom end for the f/i setup while the engine is out of the car. Or spend more on the engine, and wait a "goooooood while" before you've got funds to get the kind of f/i you'll need to get those 300+ HP ranges you were talking about. Unless of course money is no issue, in which case disregard this post.

if you were to fully build the bottom end of a b16 for turbo what parts would you need to upgrade/build? rods, pistons? what else?
