mini me question....
sorry if this is a stupid question, but i did some searching and everyone says to use a 92-95 si/ex head for a mini me setup, cant i also use the head from a del sol since the engine code is the same?

If the engine code is the same, and the generation is the same, then yes you can use it.
After all, the Del Sol is a 2 seater civic platform.
