Im telling you all 1.6 si engines with an intake whistle. You said it didnt whistle until you put the Si manni on right? If you want the whistle to stop get an aftermarket one or put your old oe back on and it will go away.

heres a good way to see if you have a vacuum leak..

spray carb cleaner all over the manifold with engine running until you hear a definite decrease in rpm (like from idle of 900 to idle of 500.) youll be able to hear. Well if it does that in one spot thats a good spotter for a vacuum leak

Used it on my nightmarish intake manifold install
