Hmm..you can swap trannies? Does replacing a cable tranny on a hydro based engine just bolt right on, or does it require a bunch of addition parts (bar the cable tranny itself) and/or several hours of labor?

I'm actually in a similar situation as Project Rage, only that I prefer the B16a instead. I don't want to end up with an engine I'll have to rebuild/replace after less than 100k miles. Not sure if that's realistic though.

bolts right up with little hassle...then makes the swap easier b/c you don't have to convert to hydro

Ok im going into the shop later this afternoon to look over the engine, tranny , CPU and axles.

A few things I need to know

1.Compression test what should the B18A/B engine be at ????

2.clutch ?? if it needs to be changed then should I go race clutch ?? how much are they ??? I don’t want something that’s guna be hard to push down after a while cause I will be driving in rush hour traffic.

3. what is the diff with STAGE 1 - STAGE ????
