MUST SELL: 1987 CRX engine parts, body
Detroit, Michigan area (Troy). Two CRX engines disassembled. Most parts are good. One engine threw a rod or something. The other was supposed to be the replacement, but the teenager flaked out on the repair and left the stuff in my gararge. My son knows the details. I'm don't know much about this Honda. Also the 1987 CRX's body, no glass in windows. Bucket seats in fair shape. Moving--MUST SELL FAST. Make offer on all or part.

I'd be interested, but live too far away, and shipping would probably be too expensive.

I took a look at the fenders, and they are not dented. The rear fenders have a little section about 1/2 inch across cut out to give bigger tires some room. Let me know if you need pictures.

If they're not cracked, and OEM, I'd be interested. Pictures would help.

What kind of engine do you have? I'd be interested in the replacement engine, not the one with the thown rod. I just bought a '90 Civic Hatch and it's kinda running like crap. 179K miles and 4-speed manual. Both the engine and the trans are acting up. I wouldn't mind going ahead and changing them both.
Do you have a trans as well? What's the mileage on the engine?
Mind you, I'm just sort of entertaining the idea. I'm not too serious about this yet. I don't want you to think that I am going to buy it. I live in Hamtramck so I'd come pick it up. Thanks.
