get the zc if you wana cheap swap.bu with that motor you will never hang with the big guys when it comes to the races.what kind of driving do you do? if your going to be doing a lot of racing get a b16 -b18c or a crv tec setup if you wana boost.there cheap as shit.

its a straight deal with the zc.everything bolts up and is a drop in motor no motor mounts required.you can use your tranny and axles.with the b16 everything needs to be altered.but you get what you pay for.

Get an LS. I have driven a CRX with a LS motor swap and a CRX with a ZC. The CRX with the LS had an LS tranny bolt ons in a 89 SI. The CRX with a ZC was in a 90 HF completly gutted and had a DX tranny. The LS felt so much faster. It also ran 1.1 Seconds faster at the track. The LS is definantly worth the price you pay. I also have seen a CRX Si a 91 gutted with a B16A with bolt ons and the CRX with the ZC race and its a VERY good race. But others may have seen other things but from my experience and what I have seen I would go with a GSR if i could but if not I would go with the LS. Thats my opinion its not a fact.

i'm currently about to perform the LS swap, what are some good mounts to use that are cheap(price wise) and where can i find em at? sorry, i'm gettin more retarded everytime i switch up cars....

Look on Place Racing, Hasport, and ebay. Hasport in my opinion is the best. There are some cheapos on ebay if you like to cut corners. But if I was doing a swap I would buy the hasport mounts. I dont like to cut corners though.

go with place racing,there fine and half the price.you can use a pasenger side integra mount if you need too. and this race you saw with the b16*/zc must of had a really lowsy driver.i bet if they switched seats then the driver of the b16 would smoke the ever loving sh*t outs the zc,anything is possible.shit a few nights ago i smoked one of the last model trans am.we were side by side up until 100 mph but then he couldnt go any faster.i just kept going until about 115-120 and shut it down.he was pissed.now tell me that a stock b16 that just smoked a trans isnt going to beat a zc? i dont think so.ok,ok im off my tripp .gotta go to work later.

The guy in the ZC weighs over 400 lbs. There both very good drivers. The guy in the B16Aed CRX weighs about 150. He had hasport mounts, Chikara header, full exhaust, and a carbon fiber short ram. The guy in the ZC had some weird brand header, autozone intake and a muffler shop 2 1/4 exhaust on it. Its always a good race between both of them. The ZCed CRX also has a DX tranny and the B16ed CRX has a low geared tranny. Its the lowest geared one out of the cabled crx trannys. I think it was either like a y1 or ys1 or something he said. I cant exactly remember. But he gets to fourth gear at the end of the 1/4 so its pretty low geared.
