Default 88 CRX Si input shaft bearing is bad

I'm looking at an 88 CRX Si with this problem.

input shaft bearing is bad

How much would I be looking at getting this fixed?

buy a new tranny...you are talking over $1000 to get a shop to repair it...parts on trannies can easily run near $1000 alone

he's asking 1800 for the 1988 CRX Si with 134,000 miles.
Other then rust on each rear tire well that's the only problem.

Think the price is too high with that problem?

I plan on doing an engine swap with a B16...so that would fix that problem too, right?

when you get an engine swap it should come with its own tranny...b/c d series trannies won't bolt to b series engines and vice versa...so a new engine/tranny/etc would avoid the problem
