LOL you called my car a porker. My wittle CRX Si is a porker :-) Personally I think all the cool parts you get on an Si are way worth the extra hundred pounds or whatever. Given a choice between two equally cute girls, one is 110lbs and flatchested the other is 130lbs and has big 'ole knobs, which one would you pick LOL. I'll take the porker with the big cans, eeerrr umm, I mean sunroof.

Umm... I'm a fan of the little 'cans' myself.

Unfortunately, yes, I think the Si is a porker, esp. considering the MPFI availible in the 4G HF... but considering I am a guy who ditched a perfectly good GXL (with sunroof) for a Sport, it's no wonder. I went from a 2740 pound all options car to a two year older 2470 pound no options (but almost all the performance goodies, no sunroof to boot) car purely because of the weight issue.

For all-out performance, sure you want the lightest car possible. Its all about power to weight. I just thought it was funny that anyone would think of ANY CRX as a porker, I mean, they are such cute little cars. I love mine. It runs on regular unleaded and gets 35mpg plus it is fun to drive. If I could change anything about it, I'd get A/C and make it even more of a porker. Power windows would be nice too but I don't know if they were an option. Breastwise I prefer B or C cups, shape and firmness more important that size, to tell the absolute truth. My comparision was mostly meant to be amusing and to illlustrate that I'd rather give up a little weight for "creature comforts". Besides, as you mentioned, for all-out performance I'd want a rear-drive car. I tried launching my rex from a dead stop and it bounced around like Anna Nicole Smith doing jumping jacks on a trampoline.

there's something wrong with you if a CRX is a porker to you.

Thats a bit harsh, don't you think? I found CRX Si=porker rather amusing but Kai does have a valid point. The HF is like 200lbs??? lighter than the Si and so if you are looking for an ultra-light stripper to drop a B16 or whatever into, that would be the hot ticket. Me, I like creature comforts. My 5.0 has like power everything, a sunroof, and A/C (working at that). The only ghay thing is that it has NO REAR DEFROSTER. I hate that. I wish my Si had A/C but for what I paid I can't really complain. The seats and sunroof are way cool. Oh the D16A6, rear discs, alloys, and front & rear swaybars are pretty cool too.
