Default help me out... 87 CRX Si will be bought in 4 days... :)

now, Im not one who will do a whole lot to get the speed of the vehicle up any... but what will make it have a bit more performance?

Im an audio boy but that has been taken care of so I guess what I want to know is:

give me a few things to look into for upgrades which will not be very expensive but may see a bit of gain. I WILL have probably 200lbs in the hatch area with subs/amps/batteries.

As far as aesthetics, I am wondering if 15's or 16's should be looked into. I kind of think 15's would be better on my wallet, but 16's just would look better

welcome me here as well. I dont want a rice burner here, just a bit of help to pull that bass around

Not sure exactly what you're looking for here, but I really enjoyed putting moderately light 15" rims on my car (Kosei K1's) with Yokohama AVS-Intermediate 205/50-15 tires. My brakes cooled faster and I had better lateral grip. Good looking, too, IMHO.

One of the first things I did to mine was take out the restrictor plate in the airbox. Why it's there, I have no idea. A K&N drop in would be nice. DC Sports makes a good header for it, the exhaust would need to be custom fab'ed, the cam would need to be a custom regrind.

You could always have fun trying to cram in a home made turbo kit, but that would take a pricey custom manifold.

The ZC head swap would be neat, but it is a little more difficult then it sounds, involving redrilling and tapping one of the head bolt locations, along with a weird timing belt.

The 3G has tiny wheel wells, I had '92-93 GS-R pattern 14" wheels on mine and they looked good. 15" would be more then plenty.
