some of the crx's had back seats.they were small and really unconventional but they had them in japan.i think it would be nice.hell sometimes i have to sit on the cargo are in friends crx's. basically a seat any ways just a little unstable.i think if there selling"back seat kits" it would be a good addition to the people who want small compact sports cars but who have the friend who drinks to much and needs a ride every once a while.i think its a good idea.

In the most technical of the legal technicalities, it is completely illegal. (huh?)
Basically, four seat CRX's were not crash tested for the American market, therefor it is not legal to carry more then two front seat passengers in any CRX in the US, whether it has back seats installed or not. 99.99% of cops will have no idea though, and will not ticket you... but if you crash the car with someone in the back seat, you're just begging to get your ass sued.

since the crx has been out of production for a while now i doubt any one company has a steady supply of them in stock,i guess you could learn to speak japanese and track down a couple salvage yards.other than that ebay or a similar vendor is you only chance in my opinion to find one.

"kit," like an aftermarket kit? No. They'd be technically illegal to install, so the company would get in trouble if someone got hurt sitting in the back of a CRX with them.
If you want them bad, the only way to get them is from a Japanese car that had them.
