Default 87 integra ECU better>?

I just read somewhere that if you plug and play an 87 integra ECU that it is alot better than the stock SI ecu. Is that true? What are the real differences if any?

i don't know, but i had my 90-91 teg ecu hooked up to my stock si motor and i could feel a pretty good difference in bottom end power, must have got more fuel or something. But it did make it idle funny when it was cold.

Been there, done that. It makes the car run too rich, and in my car it threw a code 14 (EACV.) I had the Integra computer and injectors. I ended up swapping the stock stuff back in.
