Yes, but I think the ports are shaped differently.

hey, i recently ran into a 89 civic lx with a d15b2. my question is why are you looking into swapping the intake? performance? more hp? ive researched this project and it may be better to perform a head swap, you can keep the same harness and ecu in your setup you'll just have to wire the ecu yourself (its pretty simple if your slighty technical = can you pick up a cell phone that u've never seen and within 2 minz get to doing whatever you want to on it?) i'll find my links and post for you to check up on it... swapping the intake probably will not do anything for you other than give you a multi port setup that will toss your gas when you stomp on the peddle (100% throttle). the b2 block has short rods... i say, research it and do what will make you happy. you can boost a dpfi, but i also heard somewhere dpfi is excellent for fuel effiecny and is suckie hell on performance. whereas mpfi is the opposite.

http://crx.honda-perf.org/articles/z6swap/z6swap.html

http://www.iapecc.com/mini_me.htm (you could do that with b2) vtec and boost the freaker!

ok i couldnt find jack on it... most other people would say swap out the motor instead of wasting the cash on the parts to pull a mini-me on this setup.

_-=these 2 are actual dpfi to mpfi swaps=-_

I'm asking because I have a 92 with 265,000 miles and came across the 89 hatch with only 126,000. I want to just bolt in the long block into the 92 and not change the ECU and intake. Thanks for responses. I'm not looking for power upgrades- I can drive my Teg or 735 for that, I just love the 38 MPG I get with Civic (work car).
