Default CRX swap D16Z6

I have a few questions concerning a d16z6 swap into an 86 crx si, will i be able to use the d16z6 motor with the CRX tranny, will i have to use the exsisting mounts on the crx, can i use the same fuel pump with the newer motor??

why,if you are going to go through all the trouble of a motor swap are you going to put in another d series? the tranny should work there both d series motors.

because i have it sitting around might as well put it to use, it will just be a daily driver, there seems to be another mount on the transmission on the d16z6, will i have to fabricate the clutch master cylinder into the firewall if i convert it to hydrolic clutch

The fuel pump is the least of your worries. You'd need custom mounts, a complete rework of your electrical system, probably an 88-91 cable transaxle... lots and lots of work.

It's only too much effort if you use the wrong parts, like a D16Z6.

I was told this 95 D16z6 will bolt to this 86 d15 cable tranny, I have all the wiring and the ecu for the d16 im not worried about putting my hydro tranny in yet, i want to beat this old one for awhile i dont care if its cable clutch for now, im not worried about all the wiring either, I just need to know if i can use this old transmission with my newer motor

It looks like i can bolt the D15 mount right onto the D16Z6 and use that one, why would i have to get custom mounts??? and the d15 tranny has its own mounts bolted to the car and im not removing that, so far your the only person that has said this D16 isnt interchangeable with a D15, other then ecu and wiring
