Has anyone had this?
Over the past few days (someone might have seen my problem on mikeygs post-but dont wanna steal his thread)...i have had a problem getting into 2nd and 4th gear, i really have to jam them in and it takes like 2-4 jams before i can get into gear and im usually left hangin in the previous gear for several seconds slowing me down...I have no idea why it is doing this It almost seems as if the gears are blocked or somthin...do i need a new tranny or clutch?...thanks...
btw im drivin a 91 DX, 5spd...

I had the same problem in my old del sol. I wouldn't doubt that the syncronizers have gone too.....does it jump out of gear? The way it's sounds like: you have to slam it into gear or it won't shift into gear propely.I always had to slam second gear to hell to get it to go in. I had those two problems before the tranny went.
