How is compression untestable? What are you talking about? His starter works. So if his stater turns over his engine, he can check compression no matter what as long as he has a compression tester. He can check for spark by removing a spark plug wire and grounding it and turning the engine over.

It was outta time and the second butterfly on the trottle body of the dual point injection was stuck and testing compression would put out exaust gases out the tail pipe,
