Power Steering Installation
How hard would to be to install a Power Steering system in my 1990 civic. what parts do i need? Is it worth the trouble? i have lowered the civic 2.5 inchs and with my suspension is hard as hell to turn at low speed. thanks

i would normally say something sarcastic, just f-ing around but then peeps would tag me as someone who talks alot of junk and doesnt know his isht and sinse this is my first post i dont want to be seen like that so i wont say "you should try weight lifting itll make turning easier" so instead im going to ask... why do you want power steering? i mean i love how when i drive my hf i can feel every bump in the road and the feeling of so much control of the car ofcourse my car is quite a bit lighter than yours so i guess i probably dont have it as bad as you...well i really didnt help out much in this one huh... sorry
oh yeah and if you do decide to take my advise on weight lifting dont try driving afterwards...

Power steering is totally unnecessary. The most you'll accomplish is slowing down the steering, adding a bunch of weight, and at low speeds, you still will have trouble turning. Trouble turning at low speeds comes from how wide your tires are, and the camber of the wheel. Do yourself a favor and try to only turn while rolling, and you won't have as big of an issue.

and doesn't this depend on the motor you have whether you can get power steering to work? not sure, i have a lowered 91 hatch with 17's and i do just fine, the key is to be rolling a little bit, you'll get used to it like this, then when you get into a car with power steering you'll hate it.
