yeah...i went outside and looked for the pcv.i saw it still.but it was snowing.too cold to take it out.ima have to try when the storm dies down
.............ive got alot of things i have to do still..i gotta do my timing belt plugs wires and cap.so im gonna see how its runnin after i do all of these..........but ill still change da pcv valve cuz its only 6 dollars

Yeah, when I went to check mine last year it broke off in my hand... probably the origional one from '89.
If you do happen to replace the hose, I can tell you from experience that getting to the end that connects to the crank case is a bit of a pain. Either that, or my hands are just too big to fit in those small spaces. I was able to get to it by removing the oil filter and got to it from the bottom.

wow.let me tell u how that pcv will not come out.its denying me access.ima have to spray some penetrating fluid...or wait till the weather warms up or somethin....itscrazy i tell ya...

wut about improperly gapped plugs, faulty plug wires and cap?.does anyone think that can cuz the surging....it also feels like a slight misfire too.i cant explain it well.rookie technician.lol.......im hopefully things work out...and turns out that my hyundai has another problem.cuz it still wont start.blah

i never got the pcv changed yet....its kinda hard to get at with a wrench......so ima have to get at it with a long socket which i dont have.so ima leave it for a bit longer till i can get it changed

i actually went and sat with my car.trying to figure out wut the problem could be. And as i was siting down the engine light came back on.............and it gave me 1 blink...............if i am not mistaken isnt that for oxygen content? If so..wut should i do hook it up to a scan tool?.im thinkin now it may be the oxygen sensor?
