Default light mod, Carb swap

i,ve got a 1988 5 door civic. its model was named GL over here. it has a 1.5L SOHC non Vtec carb engine.

My question is, can i swap a carb from a larger capacity car from somewhere the same year ? ? ? ? issit a difficult swap ? ? will there be any power gain ? ?

ThankzZ

hi !

over where ?

is it a D15Bx engine ? look at the front of your engine, under distributor to read...

i have a 1.4 twin-carb, i think you should have the twin keihin carbs too, they are same over many european/Japanese honda.

you can setup your actual dual-carb with rejetting and better air intake, or you can find a Weber carb and new intake manifold (DPFI'one), but i could not help with this.

good hunt
