Default '89 CRX wheel sizes and junkyard wheels

Can anyone tell me the size of stock '89 CRX Si wheels? 14x5.5"?
Also, are there any good donor cars that would be good for scavaging wheels to fit these cars? something 15" or maybe 16" diamter w/ 1-2" wider than stock CRX wheels.

Any ideas? think cheap!

for a while i used 95 civic hx wheels that were 14 inches really light tires but wont fit a really wide diameter on them. but as far as a really light cheap tire they work great

You can use any 80+(?) Civic or Integra wheels, early 80's to 89 Accord wheels, early 80's to 91 Prelude wheels, some older VW and Mazda wheels, basically anything with a 4 on 100mm bolt pattern with a similar offset.

Your best choices are going to be newer GS-R or 99-00 Si and new EX wheels, they're probably the biggest you'll get. Then again, you'll never find those wheels in a junkyard, either.

So, 4x100 then. What is the maximum backspacing I should look out for to avoid rubbing?
Do you know what size those Accord, Prelude, and other wheels are? It would seem the '80's Accord/Prelude should be pretty easy to find in the boneyard. I was hoping to fit something like a 205/50/15, is that a typical size for those wheels? Does that tire size sound right?
My friend bought a '90CRX Si for CHEAP! We're going to gut it and start getting it ready for auto-x and track days and try to keep things, um, CHEAP!

most of the old wheels are 13" or 14," not worth bothering, I just mention them because they will fit.

If you want a cheap 15," the best you'll probably do it some 94-95 GS-R wheels but they aren't cheap.

I run del sol wheels in the winter there 14 in but they look good and are light. As every one else has said 15 in factory acura or honda wheels are hard to find and extremely expensive for what you get especially if they are flawless. I've seen a trend of people trading aftermarket rims for stock 2000 si or gsr rims and very little cash.

thanks for the replys.
I found this link:

very handy, answers most of my questions except back spacing. Si already has 6" wide wheels, so we may try stuffing a 205/15 on there. I also notice the ford escort GT has 4x100 15" wheels, any try those? Any issues w/ the center bore being slightly smaller?
