Got mine thru this little dealership in San Diego. Only had like 30 cars on the lot. I brought in an independent mechanic to inspect the 91 CRX Si that i now proudly own, and it passed with flying colors, even with 242,000 miles on it.

I almost bought one that was sitting on the side of the road. $1500 for an 89ish Si with a B16A swap.
I've bought all mine from family or seeing cars on the side of the road with signs in them.

- Park & Ride for the White DX
- My brother's teacher in High School, knew about it before it actually went "for sale"
- My dad spotted it in the city on 28th St.
- Found online, went up to Philly to get it
Always paid cash, and never spent more than $3500

Mine was a purchase of chance.
In a junkyard doing project car research, to find a killer CSP autocross worthy car. The junkyard owner was/is a good friend of the family. Last day of our "research", in rolls an '85 DX with a blown engine, but otherwise perfect. $300 and towed it away, title never even got turned in as salvage.
