Default WHat engines will bolt onto 91 crx?

Anyone please... i want to know what engines will bolt onto my 91 crx hf? i just blew my old one..Please give me a list of engines starting with the ones with least amount of modifications... please list the years of vehicles they come off of.... since im not too familiar with these types of cars.. thanks

Well it depends where you want to "bolt it onto". You can go with a v-8 if you bolt it onto the roof or a apir of v-6's ,one int the hatch one under the hood. They should bolt onto there real nice. Use the search first, then ask your questions. Good Luck!

Easy bolt-ons:
D16A6, 88-91 Civic/CRX Si
ZC, blacktop, 87-90 Civic/CRX 1.6i-16 (JDM, EDM)

Slightly more difficult bolt-ons:
D16Z6, 92-95 Civic Si, Civic EX
D15B7, 92-95 Civic DX/LX

Slightly more expensive bolt-ons:
B16A, 87-90 Civic/CRX SiR
B16A, 89-91 Integra RSi/XSi
B18A, 90-91 Integra RS/LS/GS

Slightly more expensive and difficult bolt-ins:
B16A, 92 Integra RSi, XSi
B17A, 92-93 Integra GS-R
B18A, 92-93 Integra RS/LS/LS-S/GS

etc.

Kai...won't the Y8 also bolt in there as well? Just curious...cause I'm looking for my 90si...getting a little confused actually with all of these different engines...but...just curious...

The Y8 goes in the same way as a Z6, but it is an OBD-2 engine. That means a bit more electrical work, no fun.

You should be able to bolt on any D-series SOHC manifold to any D-series SOHC head.

I've actually noticed that there is a lot of varience in the coolant part toward the left side (looking from the front) and would question the compatability of some of them. The bolt patterns are the same, it just looks like some combos may leak (or dump) coolant.

Even tho the y8 is OBDII cant yous till retain OBD-0 by running the PM6?

Also, wont he have a bunch of crap to deal with anyways considering he'll have to do a DPFI to MPFI conversion? I could be wrong
