d16a6 bare block
Would it be worth it to buy a d16a6 bare block for around 30 bucks. Would acquiring the rest of the engine parts be easy/cheap. I really want a b16a1 but cant afford right now, and im getting sick of driving a car with only 50hp. Any suggestions would be great.

check www.ebay.com and www.thepartstrader.com and search d16 or honda engine or anything pertaining to that stuff you might find a good deal on a stock engine. You can also check tuner shops for extras laying around from previous swaps. If your into do it yourself go to the yard and get what you want.

you don't want to get a block and crank seperate. It's just not worth it. You can get a complete motor for 300 or so. check out http://www.nippon-motors.com/
I've gotten a motor from them shipped coast to coast from fri to tuesday.

Yeah, buying an engine piece by piece is more expensive, especially with a D-series. If you were building a frankenstein B-series, that would be different.
