vettes are nice "big block" powerplants...considering the vette engine is only powerful b/c of displacement (pushrods and other old tech in the old c4 vettes)...they might be semi lightweight for a muscle car but a terror in snap oversteer as the rotational inertia is terrible (big engine up front little weight in the rear controlled by leaf springs)...the c5 was a better handler b/c of better weight distribution but still no super handler...vette is a great drag race platform and not a bad drifter but the c4 cannot hold a candle to the 240sx at some 500lbs lighter with a more sophisticated suspension

mahdavis crnsx is a piece. that thing barely runs, and when it does, it runs like crap, it ran a 13 up at the drag strip a couple months ago.. sorry, don't mean to get off topic.

He is talking about this thing:
http://www.mahdavimotorsports.com/im...nsx/index.html

And yes, it is a piece. They say they built it, yet a shop in Alabama actually made all the mounts in the back and everything to mount the drivetrain in the car.:bs:

There was also some people in Canada that made an AWD CRX with a GSR Turbo engine in it too using CRV drivetrain parts. I have the site bookmarked at work. That is pretty cool IMO.:goodjob:

There was a Civic HB here some hillbilly put on an S-10 4x4 frame. Ugliest brown piece of poo I ever did see, lol. I think he sold it to a local junkyard to use to get parts or something. But that's 4WD, not just a RWD. It would be a neat project, but not worth it IMO.

Default RWD and 4WD

I know that some late model Celicas came with all the mounting points to bolt in the 4WD system from a Rav4- the factory did this for their team rally effort in the late 80's (and yes I know the Rav4 is a recent car but the drivetrain is pretty old and been in use in Japan for a long time :fawk: ). I am not sure , but don't think so, if the Hondas have this smae kinda semi- bolt in thing going on. As for all you that think this is a dumb idea- stick with your Pep Boy's mods ( splitters and alum. wings) and quit trying to bust someone for being creative and breaking tyhe mold. Good luck dude and keep us posted!
