Default B16a 1st gen help

Ok If this is a long post i am sorry. I have a J 89 honda civic dx hb I have done 3 months of reading on this, I am very intersted in this swap. This is a keeper car unless someone hit me and kills it... I would like any real input on this swap subject like maybe ECU's axels Turbos. I think that the DOHC VTEC is what i am looking for i do not think i will get what i want out of a ZC or a SOHC Vtec motor. My plans are to freshen whaever motor up i get. I am not intimidated by anthing except maybe the ECU part I am still a little uninformed and misimformed. So guy-ladies please some real solid advise here. I am buying evrything this winter and come spring WHOOM I am doing it. I havebeen tho hybrid site ect. and some other forums and they are all kinda dying out. And to be toatly honest alot of these Ricers around here are pissing me off. My car does not even look hot nor sound it. ITS STOCK and i get crap from these kids all the time. I actually nailed one them on the bvld and His car fell flat on its face as i was grabing second. They do some wierd stuff. They all have the same decals kits in different colors. There exaust mods are plain stupid and most falling off the cars. I guess thats what i get for living in ohio . Ok I am done rambiling now so please all input is needed... Thanks ahead of time guys.... If ANYONE Has anyother ideas IE using ZC motor or a SOHC Vtec Head swap ect. ideas they 100% welcome Thanks again.

you will need B16A1 engine trans ecu <~~all purchased together
mount kit.. I heard hasport is the best. that's what i got.
wire harness.. it's only 4 wires to custom wire but it's only $75 for a good one with honda plugs
90' Integra throttle cable. $20 from acura
90' Integra alternator belt

shift linkage and axels. my swap came with correct axels and i paid $50 for my shift linkage.

That list looks intimidating. Assuming you get the B16a swap from the site you mentioned for around US$1,300, How much more approx do you need to spend in parts and labor to put in B16a into a CRX Si? I'm guessing you'll probably need at least another $800 in parts, but I have no clue how much the labor will be.

Yea I am putting them all in myself. I am also going to freshen up the motor. I was thinking that a b16 or b18 DOHC Vtec and a turbo. That should really be a NICE car.... what ya think?

Isnt the B18 non Vtec though? Can anyone explain to me About Vtec? Also I thought that with Vtec you could put almost any cam you want and still keep a nice idle. What I figured was get a b16a (miles wouldnt matter) Refresh it. Cam it and get it ready to drop in. set my axels all up get the hoses. Start saving for the turbo and tada by next summer i should have a hella rippen B16a. Sound good?

B18A non vtec
B18B non vtec
B18C VTEC

VTEC is like having 2 cams.. most people like the non vtec b18 for turbo cuz of it's lower compression for boost.
