Sedan, Hatch, CRX?
I need some help deciding which I should go for.
I'd like to get a rex, because there lighter, and only have 2 seats so I don't have to carry anybody.
I'd like to get a hatch, because I like the way they look, but alot of people around here have 4th gen hatch's all decked out.
I'd like a sedan, because there sweet when fixed up, and you don't see too many "good" ones out there, and its a plus in my book to be different.
What do you guys think I should go for?

The 4th gen hatch styling doesn't really do much for me, and sedans aren't my style, so I'm going to have to say any CRX you can get your grubby hands on would be a good start

i like the old 4g sedans
pros:
they look clean and when tastefully modified look great
they are also light compared to new civics
they are rare especially ones that are modified
cons:
heavier than same year hbs and rexes

Jaje, DITTO!
I agree totally.
I don't like the new civic sedans, everyone has one, and an old 4g sedan, DONE RIGHT, looks flippen sweet IMO.
The only thing, yes there heavier. But nothing a good swap and a little more work won't fix.
My friend was telling me just today, that a company in some towns over built a turbo'd '89 4dr and it busted low 12's Thats good inspiration.

Are you talking about the sedans?
I saw at Hondaswap.com. The HB's were 2100lbs, or something like that, and the sedans were rated at like 22-2300lbs. not much more to make a substantial difference.

personally I like the rexes best. (I got one ) I'm also kinda partial to the older accords, even though thats not one of your choices. I knew a guy that had a 92 two door accord with an h22 in it, that thing hauled booty. And he spent over 10k on the exterior, shaving everything with nice silver paint job. But then again, we all don't have over 10 grand to slap into a car now do we. But yes, get a rex, very satisfying car, fun to drive and gets great gas mileage. (and the potential, weee).

if I didn't have to carry anyone else in the car I would have a rex right now. I steal my bros all the time and run the hell out of it I prey on all cavaliers and neons only because they have no idea that their cars are not really that good. Its not much just a homemade turbo running 5lbs on a low mileage d16 its also a hf so its light and its been mostly stripped of its interior. Rexs rule but I gotta have a hatch. if originality is your thing then go with the sedan if you get it done right you will be rewarded with a unique car where someone with a hatch will have to go out of there way to make it stand out. As for the rex I don't see them that often here so they are all special.
