As for chrome (or stainless steel I think you mean) vs. ceramic I would go ceramic for 2 reasons. Its cheaper and it resists heat better.

i agree 1 piece would be a bitch to install...
i have the stainless dc 4-2-1.....
its awesome and i love it...
doesn't rust(except weld spots) BUT it does turn yellow/blueish after a while, but u can get stuff to take that away for a short period of time...i actually think the gold looks good..!?
anywas the cermanic rusts, but like my couisn does, is spray paint them every couple months with silver heat restisant spray...
you can see both of our header(s) in the basement under "what does ur engine bay look liek thread" i made a cpouple days ago..

yeah, the kamikaze header is lookin pretty nice for around $250. I was looking at it and saw that shipping will end up owning me at like $50. What kinds of places in SoCal sell that stuff?

i personally have a kamikaze 4-1 w/ 2.5" downpipe, on my rex...its ok. chromed out and all...no rust showing up yet and its been on for about half a year now. now as for the power gains with i ti think it may have hurt me more than helped but i wont know til i dyno it later today or monday. who knows though...they boast that it will give 5 more than a dc header...but yeah stear clear of the ebay shit. it will rust up on you really quick from what i have heard.

Is ~$300 really expensive for a ceramic DC 4-2-1? I don't think so myself. Works just fine on our race car and has NO rust on it at all. The only time you will see rust is where the coating has come off-which it should not. As for power gains-ONLY a dyno will tell you for sure.
Where to buy-try Ultra Performance in Tucson or Summit. You might be surprised at the prices they offer.
