Default vigor egine installation HUGE problem? HELP

Here are some pics of what problem I ran into. the new engine (JDM) has four wires running from the head into the harness and no sensor when I opened the cover to the timing belt. The US version has six running into the harness and there is a sensor <--? under the timing cover. What I was thinking is get the sensor from the US put it on the JDM and merge the harness with the new wires and the old. What do you all think.
Help is appreciated.

Shouldn't need to merge any wires. If you pull off the camshaft pulley, you'll see the sensor on the JDM motor/the other "half" of the sensor on the USDM. Just swap what's on the USDM motor onto the JDM, it's a direct fit IIRC. The key here is removing that camshaft pulley.

BTW...it's the Camshaft Position/Top Dead Center sensor.

got it

take the sensors from the US version including the shaft wheel and move them to the JDM version. Simple
No, I am not doing this without a manual but the Chilton's don't go in detail.
After this point is really simple, every other transfer from the US version to the JDM was done.

by the way. there are 2 more sensors behind the wheel and they need to be transfered too.
