soon to purchase a 04 TL, got some questions...
after much consideration with my father, im planning to purchase an 04 TL.
all i want is an auto with no navi, and a A-Spec performance package.
i recently went to Acura 101 west in calabasas (about a month ago) and saw a silver TL in the showroom.
i didnt ask while i was there, but im guessing that you have to special order to recieve a TL with the A-Spec package correct?
please feed me as much information as possible

The A-Spec package isn't available yet. And it will be a separate vehicle, not an option on the regular TLs.
Take a look at this:

And cool, didn't know there was another rexer out there...I have a 94 FD

according to your link frank, it says:
To highlight the TL's high performance demeanor, Acura introduced an A- SPEC accessory package that went on sale December 1. The TL A- SPEC kit features track-tuned suspension that lowers the TL by one half inch, 18-inch wheels and high performance tires and an aero kit that accents the TL's aggressive new styling while improving handling and aerodynamics. The package is dealer-installed and covered by a full factory warranty.
it says it went on sale on december 1st
im not talking about the concept, but just the accessory package ( 18 inch wheels, suspension, body kit, etc.)

Palumb, Frank doesn't know what he's talking about. That car he linked to is a CONCEPT CAR.
The A-Spec kit is an option and is dealer installed. You can read about the benefits of it on www.hondanews.com or our News and Rumors forum. I absolutely love the A-Spec's wheels.
Edmunds has a nice write up of the new TL and details the A-Spec kit nicely: http://www.edmunds.com/new/2004/acur...ightbanner.1.*
I'd buy the A-Spec kit in a heartbeat if I had the money...I mean, a lot of people criticize it for being so expensive (about 6k installed), but it's all under factory warranty and you won't see quality performance parts come out for the TL for many months. I'd only trust Comptech.
So to answer your question, you don't special order it. Your dealer should have A-Spec kits from Acura that they received. It's an option, you don't order it from the factory like the HP tires and the Navi and the 6 speed. But talk to your dealer! They may not have any in stock.
