Default Regarding the future of the Acura CL

Since Honda redesigned the TL, then theres the TSX. Does anybody here think that Honda is going to completely redesign the Acura CL or not?

Yeah, I knew that but I was hoping they would redesign it or give something new to fill the CL spots in the Acura lineup. Im guessing in the category of luxury coupe category.

Because the TL comes with a 6 speed and it handles so well, there's a very small chance of the CL returning. Unless someone comes up with an amazingly beautiful design, it's not gonna happen. No market for it anymore.

I disagree. There is always a market for a 2 door car as opposed to a 4 door. You can look at the sales numbers & see that they sold a few. It's possible that they will come up with a new design. With these car companies you never know what the hell they are really thinking.

Obviously there's a small market, but anyone with half a brain can see that unless you have a groundbreaking design like the G35C the market isn't worth it. What will a TL Coupe offer over the TL?

I dont see it happening either unless Honda decides to make a REAL dedicated sports lux coupe, and makes it RWD, or AWD. Until then, they wont attract enough buyers and keep them from buying the 3 series, g35, etc. It just wont be profitable enough for them because they just wont have enough buyers.

I honestly can't see it's return with the '04 TL 6-speed and Accord V-6 Coupe 6-speed in it's lineup.

It's mission statement would have to be rethought, it wouldn't be competing in the segment it once did.
