morons... :slap:

dude.. why dont you unhook your rear speakers and compare the sound quality when you have them hooked.. whether the rears be stock or not.

Personally, irrespective of all the technical jargon, 4 speakers give the car more spatial ambiance... I wonder why luxary cars boast 11-13 speakers in their cabins when 2 would suffice? c'mon ppl the sound engineers workin at these car companies must know something...

just my 3 cents bish.. :exnbp:

Most cars have multiple speakers for a reason. to make every passenger happy.
if you dri9ver 4 people all the time, maybe you want them to have a good source of audio... but if your interested in your own ears for your car audio think again

you guys are totallyt ruining my thread. can u just answer my simple question of whether to spend lots or little money on the rear speakers? also, my headunit (alpine) has time correction. in this case, should i get expensive speakers since the rear speakers will matter. btw stop arguing over technical jargon.

I would definatly get some good ones up front. If you have the money, get good ones for the back... if you don't have as much to spend, get at least something better than stock. That's my oppinion.

This is my opinion as well.

Rear speakers do matter to me. I notice their presence a lot. You need something back there. I took a lot at where the speakers were in my car and the rears are just as close as the fronts to my ears. No one can tell me I'm not going to notice if they're gone.

I personally went with equal front and rear because I had the money. If you do, then get both.

Also, stock cones are paper. Paper sucks. It warps. Get something that's not paper for all speakers.

This is what i paid: $115 for infinity 605cs components up front, and $88 for infinity 6953i 6x9 3 ways in the back. That totals to just over $200. My advice: take 200, subtract however much the fronts cost (considering they are good) and thats how much you should spend on the back.
