No.. sound quality can also be present in a loud atmosphere just like rock concerts and the sort. It may sound like noise but, if you listen closely its clear without distortion. At least to all the concerts I've gone to which is alot in the Orlando FL, area.

To play Heavy metal, Rap, Rock.. basicly Hard music in a car with perfect imaging just doesn't sound right. Only time I've seen this type of music played with any sort of imaging is when it's unpluged or the sort.

It would feel odd to listen to Andrea Bocelli, Pavarotti or the Boston Pops in an arena with terrible accoustics unless it's an outside live showing like they do at the new year specials. They normaly play at concert halls that have some of the best acoustics within a large building sitting a large audience such as the Symphony Hall, Musikverein Large Hall, Vienna State Opera to name a few.

I never heard of any Rock, Rap or Metal group playing at these concert halls. Would feel odd if they did since the type of music is not what you would hear in these places. Its like looking at a black country singer or a white rapper.

My point is that not all music requires imaging. It can be played very loud or very soft yet retain its quality without distorition.
