mp3/Cd player plugged into the rca's in my dash , running to a 4 ch planet audio amp bridged to 2 planet audio 6x9's in the rear deck .
Car is COMPLETELY deadened with secondSkin liquid floorboards , deck , doors , trunk , everything after entire interior was stripped .
Also using raamMaat on floor 2 layers + Neoprene closed cell foam 1/2"
4 layers of raammaat 60 in doors - 2 inside - 4 out
2 layer on top of rear deck , 2 layer on botom
1 layer and strips a lot of other places in car .
Trunk about 10 layers of Spectrum v2 liquid , raammaat 2 layers , 4 layers in obvious fvck spots ..
Trunk lid , foamed bracing with minimal expansion foam after caulking any bracing that contacted the lid .
Liquid 4 layers , rammaat 4 layers ( added glue between layers jic )
Ensolite foam 1/4" 1 layer with custom cover so hides all the sh!t
Also pulled trunk lid hinge down 3/16" " for tighter seal
Shaved trunk lock with popper kit ready for alarm to be connected

1/0 gauge ran flat Knu wire ran to trunk + remote turn on
Will do battery , alternator and finish up install / trim trunk out for stealth install once summer is over too hot for this sh!t now .

adding deflex pads to doors behind drivers is about the only thing I forgot as far as deadening goes .
Oh also have to deaden actual plastic door panels and a few more trim pieces as well .

Rear Stage:
Subwoofer: 12" IDQ

This is a pretty simple setup. I am in the process of upgrading everything, and have already started with the head-unit. I am looking to replace the 4 channel amp that is powering the front stage and the sub with 2 individual amps. Then I am also looking to replace the 12" IDQ with a 10" woofer to save some space in my trunk. Currently the IDQ is in a 1.3 cubic ft vent box. I am looking for a .5 cubic ft sealed box now :happysad: Finally I am going to replace the front stage with something nicer, and finally power the 6.5" Infinity rear fills.
Funny how things change. I ditched the FanaticX and replaced them with budget Focals. Rid the 12" IDQ for a 10" eD 11.kv. Ditch the sealed box idea and went with a vented. Leaving the rears blank. Still in the market for a 4 ch that can do 100x2 and 300 x 1 bridged.

I'm new to the site and this is my first post:

Car: 2000 Accord Lx
Head Unit: Alpine - 9815
Mid / High Amp:
Low end amp: 1990's old school Rockford Fosgate Punch 150 "new". forgot it was in my closet..lol..I was using a old school punch 45 back then.
Front Stage: Boston 6.5 Pro Series components
Rear Stage: Boston 6x9 rally
Subwoofer: Fosgate P2 10"'s x2

This is my installed set for now and it sounds great! I'm going to upgrade the subs to Fosgate P3's, taking suggestion to get the 10's or 12's. Again in my closet, a Fosgate Power series amp..I think it's the 500..something, last years model. But put's out 500+..
Final upgrade a 4ch. amp possibly Alpine, a digi-cap and a full custom install.

I'd appreciate feedback from anyone about my setup and upgrades. Since the 90's, my set-ups have always been the combination of Alpine/Fosgate/Boston Acoustics and still true to this day. I need suggestions on whether or not to go sealed or ported. All my boxes in the past have been ported boxes. What do you recommend for my new amp.
